Spiral

Roger Rod's Spiral 060420 - works for Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba
1-3 - Start with first half of the "box." M pivots 1/8 turn L on 3, leading W into R parallel position, making sure M's weight is on L foot on 3.
4-6 - "Left Zig, Pivot Right" - M steps fwd. (R, L) pivoting R 1/4 turn on L foot and leading W into L parallel position with M's weight on R foot on 5. On 6, M takes "extending" step fwd. on R foot.
1-3 - "Right Zig, Pivot Left" - M steps fwd. (L, R) pivoting L 1/4 turn on R foot and leading W into R parallel position with M's weight on R foot on 2. On 3, M takes "extending" step fwd. on L foot.
4-6 - "Left Zig, Pivot Right" - M steps fwd. (R, L) pivoting R 1/4 turn on L foot and leading W into L parallel position with M's weight on R foot on 5. On 6, M takes "extending" step fwd. on R foot.
1-3 - "Right Zig, Pivot Left" - M steps fwd. (L, R) pivoting L 1/4 turn on R foot and leading W into R parallel position with M's weight on R foot on 2. On 3, M takes "extending" step fwd. on L foot.
4-6 - "Left Zig, End" - M steps forward, leading W into R underarm turn into closed position.
